Welcome to Mrs. Martin's Class!
My name is Mrs. Jennifer A. Martin. I’m so happy to welcome you to our classroom! Third grade is a very busy year filled with fun, adventures, and learning! Third grade can be a hard transition for students. Remember, homework and daily attendance is very important to being successful in third grade. During the school year, we will tons of information and learn to work collaboratively with our classmates through many academic discoveries.
This is my third year teaching at Norton. However, this is my first year in third grade. I am very excited to get to learn with your child! I am honored to have been selected to work with this school and the wonderful staff here! I look forward to working with you and your child as they successfully master third grade AKS during their time with me. I know that we have that BIG test at the end of the year. However, I know that as long as we all do out best we will be very successful.
About Me:
I am a native Georgian. I grew up in Snellville and graduated from South Gwinnett (a long time ago!). I have been married for more than 10 years. I have two children and both will be in school this year! When I am not teaching, I spend my time with family and friends. You may even find me reading a good book! I also love watching movies and going to the movies. Popcorn is a vice!

Snack- Chocolate or popcorn
Book- I love to read them all! Mostly mysteries!
Drink- Coffee and Diet Mtn. Dew and of course WATER!
Color- Purple
I love - Watching movies, reading books, and learning :)
I watch - Football, my kids sports, and the ocean waves!
